Doodle & Dance Beginning Machine Quilting -- Heather Thomas
This class is for quilters with no previous quilting experience or those who are struggling with poor results. Students will learn how to properly baste their quilts and find out about choices in marking and no marking techniques. They will learn how to get the most out of their walking foot and get a good start on exploration with free motion techniques. Silk Scarf Painting Party!!! -- Heather Thomas
This wonderful party is all about exploring with color and unleashing your inner artist. We will use Dynaflow paints and silk scarf blanks as we learn how to paint in several different ways. We will explore watercolor techniques, resists, and pole wrapped or clamped Shibori. Heather will demonstrate several embellishment techniques to add to your art to wear scarves. You will leave with 3 dye painted scarves. Wear old clothes for this one!
